Awake: That show where they took Fringe and CSI and put them in a blender
Posts
Little twist at the end was a little predictable, but the overall episode's story about how we sometimes push away the people who try to help us, and the value in those people not giving up, was very well done.
And that's nearly as unsatisfying as if both are dreams. What's the point if he's dead all along?
So.
But I need it to go somewhere
So this last wrinkle best do a thing
guy finally makes peace with what happened, all mysteries are solved and he accepts that he's lost someone and he can't keep this delusion going
last scene is him waking up. his eyes open, he smiles
the end
Hopefully the rest of the episode is on par, because I've been less enthused by this show as it goes on.
Next week looks like dumb conspiracy nonsense though.
this show is too good
the swerve at the end rocked my tiny brain
I kind of liked the swerve at the end, but also I kind of didn't? it was kind of clever but also kind of Sixth Sense.
Needs to focus more on his relationship with his family, partners, and therapists.
I almost prefer the green world because Rex and Tara are a lot more fun than Hannah, but I like Vega and BD Wong a lot. Actually, I think I like both shrinks about equally.
The green world is also just nicer to look at. The red seems harsh.
I hope they stay away from the
nonsense that has been hinted it, because that would just be worse
it's just
they had this great premise
and did the exact opposite of anything new with it
Turns out he was in a coma all along! His wife and son are both fine!
At least the family stuff is way more interesting than the cases.
You started off strong, became kind of a normal boring cop show, got really, really good for a few episodes and then got confusing.
Interview that helps explain the last scene for those of you who need it, because I sure did.
the same guy that made lonestar made awake
who keeps giving this guy chances
Did it actually end in they were both a dream?
Turtles all the way down
