i hope that they get Cibo Matto to re-record Birthday Cake specifically for this port

    We are now archenemies.

If JSRF ever does get a rerelease, I would be completely fine if they didn't want to license Birthday Cake and Aisle 10 again. A few of the Latch Bothers songs can take a hike, too.

I see no mention of a PC release in this thread. :(

    That song is SO GOOOOOOD.

Also I like Aisle 10 enough to go out and buy the Scapegoat Wax CD, and it is still to this day one of my favorites. That song is by far the weakest on the album though.

Great news, though I still own(and regularly play) the DC version.

If Crazy Taxi was any indication, I wouldn't be too excited. No way will this still have Rob Zombie and Jurassic 5.

Hey, Sega. Clockwork Knight Collection on PSN/XBLA. Please?

You're thinking too small. More like:

Hey Sega, fan translations for Shining Force III scenarios 2 and 3 exist online. And you bought girigiri, the sega saturn emulator like almost a decade ago and have done nothing with it. Hint hint.

    Hello hopeless optimism!

Have you seen what Sega has been doing to the Shining franchise lately? Yeesh.

Have you? The next shining game is using the 3rd iteration of the Valkyria Chronicles Engine.

I bought an XBox on the day Jet Set Radio Future launched.

Its the only game that ever sold me a console.

    It was worth every cent.

In Jet Grind Radio, you could create your own custom tags. I would love it if the tag editor was optomized, and you could even use JPG's and stuff in it now.

I remember enjoying the game when I played it, loving the style, but not really having a clue what to do/enjoying the story. only got to play it briefly

Oh man I just remembered how much I loved that song by The Reps.

I CAN SEE THEM ABOUT THE TOWN
I CAN HEAR THEM ALL SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BA DA BA DA DA!

I had a TV with only one speaker in it when I played this, and I had the game in stereo. So when I finally got a new TV, put in Jet Grind, and realized there was an electric guitar playing during that intro, it absolutely blew my mind.

I will say that I had a lot more fun in JGR when I used a gameshark to remove the time limits on the stages.

I loved that in JSRF that you could explore at your leisure and do events.

I'm super excited to play this game at (what I'm assuming will be) a silky smooth frame rate. The rose tinted glasses of nostalgia often makes one forget that JSR/JGR had some wicked slowdown when the on screen action got too hectic.

...and I'll second the desire for an even more robust graffiti editor. Uploading jpegs from a thumb drive into the game? Rad. I'll start GISing cool graffiti art now.

Looking to spraypaint porn all over the streets of Shibuya-cho and sodomizing your vast imagination, huh? :P

I never really got into the Jet series; they looked cool, but the gameplay didn't click with me. Maybe now that my tastes have mellowed and expanded somewhat I'll be down with this.

I'll be buying this day one no matter what. Also, if Sega is reading this, I'd like them to know that I'd go over-the-top consumer whore on any JSR-themed avatar crap. I love the visuals of this game so, so much.

But the music is the big question for me. The OST for the game includes:
    - Hideki Naganuma's songs (Let Mom Sleep, Humming the Bassline, Sneakman, That's Enough, Rock it On, Sweet Soul Brother, Moody's Shuffle, Grace & Glory)
    - Richard Jacques' Everybody Jump Around
    - Reps' 'Bout the City (thankfully!)
    - B.B. Rights' Funky Radio
    - Toronto's Electric Toothbrush
    - Castle Logical's Mischievous Boy
    - F-Field's Yellow Bream

... which would be enough for an awesome soundtrack for any other game, but a lot of REALLY iconic JSR music was licensed. Most notably for me are Deavid Soul's songs (Up-Set Attack, On the Bowl, Yappie Feet, Miller Ball Breakers and [Japan version only] Dunny Boy Williams Show), GUITAR VADER'S songs (Super Brother and Magical Girl], Idol Taxi's O.K. House and the NA/PAL version songs.

I've never heard the PAL version songs, and I could take or leave most of the US music, but Deavid Soul and Guitar Vader's songs are essential.

Sega needs to do whatever they can to license that music. And make sure Hideki Naganuma has final say on all soundtrack decisions.

While I'm making demands, keep the name "Jet Set Radio" in all territories.

They were never going to include online custom tag functionality. They aren't going to hire a penis monitor for a digital title.

The PC version will probably have a means to do it though, at least!

Why would they need to screen for offensive images in a single-player only game? You could put titties in your tags in the original DC version.

    ....It's "On The Street"!?

I swear I've been hearing Understand all this time.

@Dirty - I was thinking of a means to download them through an in-game portal, like in the Forza games. I don't remember how it worked on the Dreamcast...
