I won't gripe someone for giving an honest opinion when asked for it, so long as they know to leave that at the door when bringing the funny.
Edit: To be fair, I had to stop watching that video before I came angry at him. I love watching him on Family Feud, and remembering stupid opinions he has about evolution isn't really going to accomplish anything but potentially ruin that for me.

There is your answer right there. He proudly admits that when people say "I'm an atheist" he turns and walks away. He has absolutely no interest in learning about something that might shake a thing he believes in.
I do not respect him remaining willfully (and proudly) ignorant about evolution, but everybody is dumb about something. At least he knows not to flaunt it where it doesn't belong.
And, to be fair, Harvey has mentioned in his standup that he grew up in a very religious home, and spent half his childhood in church. So some of the things he says here really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
Shitting on someone for expressing a dumb opinion, period, regardless of circumstance, just seems really mean to me sometimes.
It's that he is an argument from authority, people are actively going to him for advice and he's spouting off these incredibly ignorant opinions as fact or at least as a valid point of view, and I'm afraid that crosses a line.
