Not with teammates, I think.
You can definitely knock down enemies.

It does have collision detection, there's been mention of people ramming into eachother and DFA's being possible.

I saw a thing on the official forums saying that the Founder's mechs are specific base chassis:

Atlas AS7-D
Hunchback HBK-4G
Catapult CPLT-C1
Jenner JR7-D

I know there's more variants on those. Clarification on if other variants will be openly available wasn't there, so I guess the answer is I dunno?

On a side note, the sound design is killer.
