I never got around to finishing the first one, I've been meaning to get back to it. And this is after I made sure to get the version that included all the DLC... *sigh*
i can tell it's early game because the guns so far have a sucky fire rate
There's also very little use of the special abilities, which means they probably don't have access to the cool down reductions. The Siren's phaslock skill showed up a few times, but I couldn't tell if that was because she was a higher level or because there was more than one Maya out there.
Seriously though, Day 1. And I NEVER do day 1. Now if only they'd release the skill trees so I can pick a character. I like the dual wield idea, but I find I almost never fire from the hip and I'd guess you kind o fhave to in berserk mode (kind of hard to double iron sight).
The claptrap in old haven won't be there the first time you clear the zone. You have to go back for it afterward (which IIRC you have to anyway for tannis or something).

So... Can someone tell me why the resale values on these don't make sense when compared to one another?
Edit: I mean, I am sure it makes sense, but I am not much of a gun nut. I guess the recoil reduction, reload speed, accuracy and zoom are enough to push the value up. Is it worth keeping both?

...and when you are done with that; take a folding

Yes, there are some weapons that you should virtually always hold on to.
Hellfires are definitely one of those.
After awhile you start to recognize weapon types and stats that you know you'll probably like for your playstyle and you base what you keep on that, not the value of the weapon.
Also it just takes a few seconds to test something out and see if its your thing.
But in general, if you find Hellfires, Anarchies (double are better than desert iirc), Pestilent Defilers, among other things, they're bound to be really good and can last you a very long time if they've got good numbers.
That's not to say all weapons of those names are created equally. You can get bad Hellfires, but they're generally bad compared to other Hellfires and still are better than your average weapons.
Yeah, all anarchies get the 4 shots. This is just a case of the materials prefix overriding the default Double prefix. The same way you can get a Hyperion SMG that shoots double shots but is named Red or Crimson Stinger or whatever.

Either that or the other companies all got a bit slower to make Vladoff more impressive.

But I'm going to day one this so hard that it will warp time and space.

Even in the hypothetical present where I don't Day 1 anything, I would pre-order Borderlands 2. Duh.

Seriously. At least that means we'll be able to play something near final at the show, though.

Please, don't any of you die hard loot fans have an aneurysm at that statement. Do please remember, it is just a game.

i think a desert anarchy is just a dahl double anarchy with a certain kind of material
which is better is dependent on the rest of the parts
Hmm...I didn't think the deserts could ever get 4 shots like the Double can.
That makes a pretty big difference. Fire rate and such yeah they're probably not much different.

Probably means I'll skip playing anything on my backlog to play the first one all weekend.
That's so quaint.
As if Borderlands is something that can sate you in a mere weekend.

Really hoping that this won't be graphics-card heavy. I'd still enjoy playing it even on low settings, but I can't afford an upgrade right now
