Estalia: 1 hit. Bloodletter dies, and a warpstone is put down.

    Just as planned...

Oh. I thought it was a magical special summon. Guess it'd be a bit too good compared to the other level one bonuses then.

Alright, put the Clan Rat in Kislev instead.

    Round 2-1. Old World Phases

    Morrslieb Eclipsed
In each region, remove one corruption belonging to each player, if able. - Players cannot play Chaos cards. At the beginning of each summoning phase, players may sacrifice two of their figures that are on the board to ignore this effect for that round. (Place the sacrificed figures on this card. They are not removed from this card until the round is over.)

So i'll wait till everyone says no sacrafice. It will determine where i would like to summon and who becomes a target depending on if they plan to play cards against me or not. I will not be making the sacrafice.

Also, this is an expert only game guys. There's WAY more fun cards to come. Like needing 15 corruptions to ruin....I think there may even be some no combat in there somewhere....

  • Options
AegisAegis Fear My Dance Overshot Toronto, Landed in OttawaRegistered User regular
Technically, you'd be the one making the first choice and everyone else should have been waiting for that.

For instance, I'm waiting on Khorne to decide before making my choice.

Heh. I just now noticed the eclipse wiped out all your corruption from the creeping death last turn. Bummer!

  • Options
    texasheattexasheat Registered User regular
I can't tell was the old world card added to the track? Or do we still have more time with the single card draw?

  • Options
DarianDarian Yellow Wizard The PitRegistered User regular
Every expert card sticks on the track; with no twin-tailed comet in sight, single card draw is guaranteed to go away after this round.

  • Options
    texasheattexasheat Registered User regular
Ok...then does the effect on the current old world card effect again? Ex, will everyone lose 1 corruption at the begining of the next round?

Old World Cards have two sections: an immediate effect, then a lingering effect. The immediate effect (remove corruption for this one) happens once, then you check for the lingering effect (it starts by telling you when it happens--in this case, at the start of summoning).

So the corruption removal will not be happening again.

edit: For some cards in the regular set of OWC, the lingering effect is replaced by "Discard this card instead of adding it to the Old World track."
