Guess I gotta go back and watch yesterday's episode.
Yeah, it was definitely awkward. But I'm going with that as the intent; these guys probably know dick about being in a real fight.
Most recent episode highlight was definitely Roger's acid trip. I thought it was really well done/interesting.
Rest of the episode was super tense.

I was expecting it, but I wasn't hoping for it; I was incredibly relieved when it was a fever dream.
When things got really bad, I started to get nervous that he was seeing her, but it was actually Megan he was fighting with. Would have been terrible!
That was an accident. It's different. You're talking about turning the main character of this non-crime, non-actiony drama into a murderer. A feverish murderer not quite in control of his actions, true. But there's a line.
if he became a full on murderer, the show would immediately deviate from its tone/themes

it's a pretty rad show
even if a bunch of stupid nerds miss the point and want to be the guy that cheats on his wife and is an alcoholic and so on and so forth
actually it's my second time through season one. i forgot what a dickhead pete's dad is (but not what a dickhead pete is)
also i have yet to figure out the point of the arc with betty and glen

I did manager to correct her in that what she really wants me to do is be more like Jon Hamm which is perfectly reasonable. And that Don Draper is a really fucked up, terrible person the vast majority of the time.
