Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Avengers Assemble! Avengers 2 should be Avengers vs. Godzilla.

I was gonna say, I remember seeing some of that.
Because 9% think it's too high, and shouldn't be cut! 9% of respondents could not fully
get their arms around the question. There should be another box you can check for, "I
have utterly no idea what you're talking about. Please, God, don't ask for my input."
God, Loki is so well written in that movie.

Ahem
Excuse me
That's adorable.
Yeah, moffat hasn't been writing/creating a critically aclaimed adaptation of sherlock for the past three years, it's true.
Ugh, I hate when trailers spoil the entire plot

I liked Beowulf a lot (except for the ZemickisGI). Winstone has the best voice.
I have never read or seen any other form of Beowulf though, so I can't really defend it when people say it sucks.
it is a pretty solid adaptation
especially considering what it is adapting is a long poem that is over a thousand years old
Steaaaaaaam
not any real type of monster in particular

Apparently the Skrulls are in a similar situation.

EDIT: Also, to nobodies surprise, the Avengers got a PG-13 rating.
Well CK did admit that maybe he had been too hasty in the formation of his opinion
being magnanimous in victory is a sign of class, is all I am saying

"I will kill your monstah."
grendel is definitely not a dragon, since there actually is a dragon in beowulf, and it isn't him.
Otherwise, yeah, it's kind of a mishmash of whatever you want. He's kind of trollish and also ogreish or orcish. He's a demon spawn, he can look like whatever.
...i guess it would be "fewer eyes"
I AM DARKWING DUCK
Anyone have the scans of his original mini involving him smoking in an elevator? That scene was boss.
I'm gonna go chronologically, but should I watch Captain America last... or first
I need the most optimal experience possible
Well, the movies are all over the mark chonologically.
Basically
WW2 Captain America Stuff
Incredible Hulk Opening Stuff
Iron Man
First part of Incredible Hulk (Everything up to him making it to the University)
Iron Man 2/Thor/Incredible Hulk weave in and out of each other.
Last two scenes of Incredible Hulk
Present Day Cap stuff.
The comic "Fury's Big Week" clarifies the interving of the 3 movies.
Personally I go by theme, especially leading into the Avengers
-Start with Cap, as everything sort of starts here: the super soldier program, the Stark dynasty, and the tesseract
-Then go to Iron Man and Iron Man 2, as they work well leading into each other, establish SHIELD and reminds people of the cosmic cube
-I put incredible hulk here because it leads off of Stark and I think thor goes better last
-I put Thor last as it reveals the whole Asgard technology concept, as well as directly sets up the avengers at the end with Loki and the Tesseract.
A Funny thing happened on the way to Thor's Hammer and the Consultant go before and after Thor, respectively.
Nolan's Joker can take a back seat.
wanna make sure I get it so I'm watching thor, like, right before I go see the avengers at midnight (I think I'm committing to this now)
problem is...parks and rec starts at eight thirty and thor is like, two and a half hours long...
Parks and Rec (and the rest of NBC's thursday night comedy lineup) are usually up on Hulu by the next day, if that helps. Also, make sure you get there early enough to get through potential lines.
which leaves not a lot of time for hulu
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
So
I was thinking about how in the comics Vision had his brain patterns modeled after Simon Williams
well, what if they introduced Vision in Avengers 2 but had them modeled after Coulson's personality instead?
It isn't a perfect solution because he would be a superpowered robot instead of a dude in a suit but hey I would happily take it
Steaaaaaaam
the manhattan projects is The Best Comic
love buttlord
I'll take it.
I want to see Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch so bad.

It could also just be that he will be introduced into the comics? Comics that aren't direct movie tie ins, I mean.
And I have to say, Wakanda is kind of bullshit.
He's at least as good a character as Mr. Freeze or Harley.
