"Balls of solid brass or obliviousness beyond belief? You make the call!"
I never worked at GameStop, but one time, I walked into the middle of an armed robbery without realizing it. And then started playing their Guitar Hero display, still not realizing that I had walked into an armed robbery.
Apparently, my reaction to being a hostage is to play 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' on expert.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
My new novel:
Maledictions: The Offering.

I pretend I don't see the robber, walk over to Guitar Hero. He's confused, but within arm's reach. When he's not looking, I pivot around with my plastic axe, raising it over my head, and bring it down. And then that pulls the display over into me, because the cord is too short to perform the overhead attack, and knocks me to the ground. Then, he points the gun at me and I shit my pants or something, I don't know, what, this isn't my fantasy. And then he leaves, I guess?

He's just regular folk now.
Strangely enough, it would be a pretty normal episode for Castle.
