    Round 4: Phase 5: Battle Phase

    MrBody reveals his initial commitments of 2 units led by the Factorum (Strength 4), playing no cards. Phyphor reveals his initial commitments of 0 units led by the Admiral (Strength 7), playing both an offense and defense card. Strategy cards are committed; no traitors are played.

    Phyphor reveals his Strategy cards, an Atmospheric Ionizer and Energy Rifle. Phyphor kills MrBody's leader, gaining 4 Influence (Sol Influence 11 --> 15).

    Total strength is 2 Jol-Nar, 7 Sol; Phyphor wins the conflict. MrBody moves 2 units to the casualties. Phyphor moves no units to casualties and may optionally discard either or both of his committed Strategy cards. Phyphor, what will you do?

    Once this is decided, the final battle of the round will be resolved in Adminus Imperialis. Alegis may exercise his ability first, after which MrBody may exercise his.

    This was a pretty good turn for us. We inflicted more casualties than we took and destroyed 4 of their combat cards. All that buying back casualties and cards is less influence for the Lazax perpetual money machine. Honestly the only thing I'm worried about now is Sol.

    One thing to keep in mind since you're going first next turn, Bob, is that combat ties are won by the player who moved first. Instead of rigging it to win by one, you can plan to win by a tie and save a unit.

    Phyphor uses Double Agent to peek at MrBody's Traitor card.

    Mecatol Power South: Won by MrBody, losing 8 units and discarding Mercenary to jakobagger's losses of 8 units, 2 Mechanized units, and Magen Energy Shield.
    Civilian Spaceport: Won by MrBody, losing 6 units to jakobagger's losses of 4 units, 1 Mechanized unit, and Magen Energy Shield.
    Holonet Central: Won by Phyphor, losing 0 units to MrBody's losses of 2 units and Factorum leader. (Sol Inf --> 15)
    Adminus Imperialis: Won by BobCesca, losing 6 units to Alegis' losses of 9 units , X-35 Biological Weapon, and Atmospheric Ionizer.

    Round 5: Phase 6: Collection Phase

    Phyphor collects 10 Influence with 5 of his units in Sallab Slums and 10 Influence with 5 of his units in Holonet Central. All players gain 2 more Influence to their pools.     Phyphor moves 5 units from Sallab Slums to Civilian Spaceport and 6 units from Holonet Central to Mecatol Power South. Tracking Beacon is discarded. The top card of the Influence deck is flipped over: it is a Sol Offensive. Due to the earlier play of Tracking Beacon, its effects are ignored, and Sol Offensive is discarded. The next card of the Influence deck is flipped: it is a Temporary Ceasefire. Players may now make or break alliances and trade Influence. Please note your actions in bold limegreen. Remember that alliances must be mutual and may include up to three players. When trading Influence, it will be useful if you list the new values for both players. We will move on from Temporary Ceasefire once all players have declared a pass in bold red.

    I didn't realize that although Hacan makes tons of money, he can't freely donate it like Lazax can.

    Soooooo...Bob, looks like our plan worked. You're about to make a boatload of money from Lazax and Xxcha redeploying all those casualties. Care to spot me some? Though I'm not sure how much you can spare. We're in a bummer situation this round. You go first and won't get money from everyone until after you go. Not sure what you want to do.

    What do you think of bringing Letnev into our alliance? The only downside is having to capture 5 strongholds instead of 4, but since it's looking impossible we're ever going to take 4 what do we have to lose? His traitor cards could make the difference in preventing them from taking five and letting us from claiming a turn 8 Hacan win.

    (Shoot. If it wasn't for the tracking beacon we'd have a pretty tempting offer for Sol to defect over to us. It's impossible to ally with his units in my spaces though.)

    jakobagger plays Tracking Beacon, triggering a Sol Offensive. Influence remaining in Sallab Slums is destroyed. Phyphor moves 5 units from Sallab Slums to Civilian Spaceport and 6 units from Holonet Central to Mecatol Power South. A Sol Offensive is drawn from the Influence deck to no effect. A Temporary Ceasefire is drawn.

    Phyphor transfers 20 Influence to Alegis (Sol Inf --> 17, Xxcha Inf --> 36). BobCesca transfers 10 Influence to MrBody (Hacan Inf --> 15, Jol-Nar Inf --> 23). Egos joins MrBody and BobCesca's alliance.

    The top card of the Influence deck is drawn: it is Financial Coffers. 6 Influence is placed in Adminus Mecatol (Sector 16) and 8 Influence placed in Val Hamech Financial District (Sector 7).

    Round 6: Phase 2: Bidding Phase

    No players are at their hand limit, so six cards will be up for auction during this round. There are only five cards remaining in the Strategy card deck, so after setting these five aside, the discard pile is reshuffled and the top card set for bidding. MrBody peeks at the first card up for bid and BobCesca makes the opening offer.
