Event Phase - The Sky Fortress Rises - The Imperial Team may discard this card any time they have initiative for 1 of the following effects:
a. Relocate any or all Imperial units from 1 area (even an activated area) to any friendly area.
b. Choose 1 area, and declare reckless or precise. Then draw 2 bombardment cards, choose 1 of them, and apply its orbital bombardment result in that area. These effects cannot be used against areas on the Vengeful Spirit.

Ahh shit-totally didn't actually check the board and thought you were attacking a instead of g since that matched up to the number of cards you told me to play. Yes his ability takes place before you draw cards-which is why mortarion is crazy.
So yea I drew an extra card-which was the 1 damage linked card above-now sanginus ability takes place which adds 2 damage so it's 3 damage total to you for iteration 2.
For Iteration 2 I am only playing the 1st card since I didn't have the 2nd to draw and wouldn't play any others, so right after that I had 1 combat card and 1 hero card. I then drew a combat card for lead by example-which is the card I already linked, so I will play that again later on most likely.
But yes you have 3 regular damage to deal w/ and Mortarion is hit for 2 which you can't do anything about :P

Eliminating the remaining word bearer and moving your init 1 more, not moving anything into Target Area

The errata breaks down hero ability's pretty well, unfortunately it does.
Iteration 3: Play 1 – Lead by Example – 2 shields – Hero: Draw 1 combat card. Then inflict 2 dmg to 1 opposing Hero. 2 – Heroic Combat – 1 shield - +Hero: Inflict 1 point of dmg on an opposing Hero. and 3 damage 3 damage to Sanguinus 6 regular damage
We're shielding 4 of the 6 damage with these two cards; the breached fortifications soak 1 more, and we take 1 damage on a marine.
Iteration 4: We play this for 1 damage; it was played already but apparently it's still in our hand.
