I'm not having any luck so far finding the wolver coat/cap recipes at any of the vendors.

Also, what sword and/or gun lines would people suggest is generally the best to start working my way up?

You can buy the wolver set recipes in the hall of heroes.

Also the sealed sword is a good sword line. Brandish is also decent. Calibur's a good all-rounder.

I'm not a fan of how the autogun freezes you in place while it's firing its burst. It's what I'm using now, but it's time to switch to something that fires single rounds so it's easier to dodge. Probably something in the alchemer line.

Lag in this game is incredibly deadly. Ive been having issues all evening, and I cant believe HOW MANY TIMES i died trying to do Jelly king. Im in four star gear.

once i just straight up died after all the enemies were dead. several times my hits weren't registering but i was taking damage from the jellies.

I loathe that god damn level

the shadow alchemer mkII has been servin me pretty well

that paired with the voltech to stagger enemies constantly

Auto's got a place, but you want something you can kite with as backup for sure. FWIW I'm playing straight gunslinger and I've solo'd everything at the appropriate gear level for the mission, including bosses, except for one 8-2 mission (the Ur one, with the fiends and kats). You have to be willing to maintain a lot of gear sets to do it that way, though. My go-to now is argent peacemaker, blackhawk (2 more levels till sentenza woooo), and callahan. If I get a fourth slot I'll put in plague needle.

nothing beats it's damage rate on enemies weak to it

but I totally get not wanting to main with it

Yeah, any game that utilizes the Steam Inventory can trade items between those games, right now that's just Spiral Knights and TF2

I am totally with druhim on the auto gun
it is super cool and i dig it but, since i'm rocking a big slow sword i feel like i should probably pack a faster gun as my backup

i'm just starting to get into 3 star gear, should i go with defender-type armor or striker
striker armor just seems so much more useful but i don't know if it would be very useful with my kamarin

the blaster is a reliable backup weapon

or you can always go up the antigua line- pretty fast gun
