Had a test Thursday that...actually went well but it preoccupied me the whole week, leaving me just stressed out enough to start my term paper immediately after. That one is due tomorrow and I'm hardly halfway done. Luckily its only about half of the grade. Oh wait, time to freak out even more.
Then with all of that going on I was too busy to see a good friend while he was in town for the week. I won't get another chance for at least two months, so I feel like a complete dick.
I've only got a few weeks to make the final call on which uni I'll be transferring too, and my top choice still hasn't even gotten me my rejection/acceptance notice. I'm halfway hoping for a rejection since that makes one of those major life choices a lot easier to make. An acceptance there means I'll be moving away, while my second choice is nearby.
All this has me more on edge that I think I've ever been, so after a friend pretty blatantly blew me off last night when I tried to talk about it I'm having to think of ways to avoid wanting to punch her in the jaw the next time I see her.
Life will seem manageable again on Wednesday after I've turned in this paper and slept sixteen hours or so, but for right now I hate everything.

The most pressing thing in my week is that the reason I have booked the weekend off is I'm going to turn 32 and I still work at Best Buy and only have half a science degree and last week the federal government announced that they were closing the lab my wife works in and her future in her position is now "affected", so all that financial stability we were so desperately clinging to is no long certain beyond next spring.
Actually, now that I look at it, the last week has sucked some bag.

i work in the supply chain department of a hospital (geisinger) and there are several ways of applying iodine-- we have little bottles, which i guess they use to pour on cotton balls, or little swabs which are basically iodine-soaked chubby cotton tip applicators (q-tips)
i am still amazed and relieved i have not had a nightmare about a huge catheter being shoved up my pee-hole
14 months in and still no nightmares about that

Any time I've been conscious + having iodine spread all over my fine self it was done with pre-packaged swabs that were already coated in it, as far as I can recall.
