Man, I am so glad that cyberpunk has been making a comeback. Between this (assuming it is what we think it is) and Shadowrun, I'm really looking forward to getting my cyberpunk on again.

I'd love a modern cyberpunk RPG that used a Gibson-esque setting.
All neon clothing and black brick decks, kitting out your character with softs and derms and a separate cyberspace part.
So I was thinking about picking up Masters of Orion 2 on GoG for old times sake. Has anyone given their version a try? How well does this gem age? I played the game religiously many years back, and not sure if I should just leave it in the sweet glow of nostalgia or bring it back in to the light and take over the galaxy again.
*edit* Holy wow, Tiny and Big looks amazing. Glad I dropped by.

Masters of Orion 1&2 both use DOSbox so the games run just fine. MoO 2 has aged very well, I'd be willing to bet that you'll enjoy it still.
20,000 purchases of Grimlock in 2 months doesn't sound very amazing. I wonder how many bought it on Steam instead? I'm guessing a lot more, and this pretty much confirms my suspicion that GoG is still pretty niche.

Oh, and tomorrow's the press conference, new announced RPG.
Judging by the one released concept art, it's going to be sci-fi cyberpunk. Which only makes me want it a ridiculous amount more.
Ooo, can't wait to see what it is. Even if it's just another Witcher or something, they're fun.

I am rarely excited for a Wednesday, but this week I now am.

If they had Mike Pondsmith doing this I'd be pleased.
