Here's what we do, we model a car and set a behavior so that it thinks its a wolf and every time it jumps, it plays the transformer sound and turns into a robot. Set the speed to 1000 as a car.
Why are there transformers in Skyrim, I dunno, but I wonder if they can outrun a dragon?
Firman, stop say you are mediocre. You are not at all mediocre writing-wise, and most certainly not art-wise. You have a really dynamic and distinctive style, and I quite like your writing. Moe is definately one of my favourite comics.
Although, just so you know, I would read the shit out of a rap-battle-centric comic done by you.
Also, with regards to tea. Flavoured tea is a waste of time. It smells nice, but nothing else. Passionfruit tea can only bring dissapointment. (edit: by this I mean fruit flavoured tea. There are other legitament flavours of tea beyond english breakfast.)

Ah. I'm more familiar with those, then. Grandparents from the U.P.
Me too. High five, then sit back with me on the fishing boat and let's down a sixer, eh?
I haven't been back there in at least a decade and a half. Although I was there in Lake Linden on July 11th, 1987 when they had what appears to be the only recorded tornado in Houghton County that I can find data on going back to 1950. Just an F0, but being there for the one in 72+ years is a rare find.

A glimpse into the mind of a neurotic beat-self-upper. I love that people here are encouraging me, but a part of me suspects that it's only because I'm present in the thread, that it demands a bit more tact from people. Like they see me as a person instead of just judging an isolated comic. When people assume I'm not looking, I figure that's when the honesty comes out, and I've seen my fair share of "Moe is horrible/unfunny" remarks. By the way how awful is it that I basically said I don't believe anyone who says nice things - it's an insult to not trust people. But part of me does, and part of me always dwells on how anything could be interpreted negatively.
If I ever see someone smile at me randomly on the street, my first response is to check my fly because I think it's open.
This kind of delusional self-loathing is frustrating as heck for cool folks to endure so I appreciate everyone's input here, but I figure it's also the skewed perspective that makes me able to come up with jokes about how much of a loser Moe is.
I see some of it in Ronnie too but I don't want to speak for him. It's definitely an artist type that is super insecure though. And for me it probably seems like fishing for reassurance which I apologize for. External validation FEEDS MY SOUL and butt. And maybe it's interesting to thread lurkers to see how a comic creator can whinge.

You are dolls. One day we will all hug at a PAX and I will hand out drawings.
By the way, this is going in a totally different direction, but I remember people saying that Sinfest was offensive rather than just unfunny. Since I've learned about why CAD is so disliked, I'm hoping someone can expand on why Sinfest is more than just lame? Is it insensitivity to people's religions or some other controversies that took place?
Maybe I am writing a book about webcomic drama and this is my vigorous research

Why do you care so much? It is poorly, poorly, poorly, poorly written. Trite. It has been trite for years. The art is good. Or could be good. There's potential. Wasted talent. Never improves.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Sinfest tries to make comments on religion/feminism/whatever, but forgets to make a joke at least 99% of the time and it is impossible to tell what it is trying to say anyway.
So it's got shitty, boring, incomprehensible writing. But what really makes people hate it is the art. The art is good. It creates an expectation of goodness in the writing, too.
It the jokes were just average, it would probably be reasonably well-liked. But when it just peddles out the same old meaningless bullshit, it reeks of wasted talent.
Obviously I'm very interested in what it is that makes people cringe and resist when certain comics are posted!
Also webcomics drama is so ENTHRALLING. I like to know what missteps people have made as creators so that I can learn from them.
