I've never found sinfest particularily offensive. I think I've cringed at some of the feminist stuff, because even though it's well intentioned it comes across so not good, and than trans-state thing was really fucking awful. But overall it's not like, the worst thing. And I don't think that an artist not living up to their perceived potential is a sin because a guy can do what he wants if he likes doing it

Another thing is that it is so easy to feel mediocre because of how much awesome shit is out there! Beyond comics too. The double edged blade of art that inspires and depresses because of how unattainably awesome it seems.

that's the weird part, to me

it's a four panel comic and so you expect a setup and a punchline but there's never any punchline or indeed any discernible comedy at all
