That bothers me less.
The main reason why adblock bothers me so much is that it literally has no purpose. Ads do not cost you anything to see. The streamer still sees money from them even if you mute them and look away. And even if you sit there and watch it, its what, a 20-30 second inconvenience? And yet people still want to use the adblock, despite it costing them no money and basically no time, in return for supporting the person they are able to watch play.
The MLG arena thing was a different story - by abusing the incognito thing, people were able to benefit by watching something they'd otherwise have to pay for.
I still don't agree with it, but it bothers me less because it at least has a justification.
But there is no justification for using adblock. People who use it are fuckers who need a good kick in the teeth.
People were saying the same thing about Quake in 2001 and CS a few years later. Even with SC2 and LoL there'll be a dip after about four or five years and after that the idea of paying to watch any tournaments becomes laughable.
Maybe the release model for SC2 will prolong that a little bit.

I still think that you're being silly - you're making money for someone, somewhere, and it costs you absolutely nothing (on a website, not even time) to have those ads up on your screen.
But at least you disable it for people who really rely on the ad revenue.

Terran could not cut scvs the way Taeja did. It was 26 probes to 24. Thats pretty unforgivable when you go reaper expand.
