Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I'm making a Community thread (and other former Thursday TV)
Annie doing her terribly overblown British impression and Troy freaking while under the truth serum were probably my favorite moments of the most recent episode. And while there might have been less jokes than Pillows and Blankets on the whole, I would have to say that I like the last two episodes more than that saga, as great as it was.
Also, props to Subway for letting the Community staff do whatever the hell they want with their brand while giving them the precious ad revenue that cannot be siphoned from time shift viewers (that seem to be the majority of the shows viewers) in the quantities that it can be from those watching on TV in realtime. That whole storyline was my favorite part of that episode, as I'm sure it was for many.
it should probably be troubling how much the "You're the opposite of Batman!" "You don't know what that means!" exchange got me thinking about the opposite of Batman.
First half is him doing The soup and the second half is him filming the Season finale of Community
It's really weird to think about him having to memorize an entire Winger monologue in a Day. But I guess that's what being an star actor is all about.
It's a downer to me that I'd rather have up all night in place of the office at this point to improve that whole comedy block. Though I gotta say abc's Wednesdays with happy endings, modern family, and suburgatory and fox tuesday with raising hope and new girl are giving it a run for their money. Not to mention hbo sitcoms like eastbound and down (best season that just ended), girls and veep looking really good too. Basically it is a pretty great time for tv sitcoms

I mean, they're good, they're well written and have lots of character depth
but there aren't many laffs.
I watch Community for Laffs, not pathos.
Pillows vs. Blankets was also one of my favorites, and I know exactly why.
AMAZING. Start to finish.
I see what you mean, but I still thought last week's episode was extremely compelling even if it wasn't as funny as the show can be
now, the episode about the Dean shooting a new commercial for the school? that was an episode I thought ought to have been funnier than it was.

But Abed can make me laugh pretty much by doing anything, so your mileage may vary.
Annie was quite good in both though.
Parks and Rec has been pretty great as well lately.
See I guess that gets to subjectivity of comedy because that's like, one of my all time funniest community episodes.

just
so funny
I guess they saw another low-rated cult nbc show and were like "heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey guys what's up"
it just hits all the right notes
SWTOR: Allanna (Shadowlands) / TSW: Sara-Luna
I've been watching it intermittently; I felt the exact same way.

Also, I wish Community was on Netflix so I could start watching.

I'm actually really surprised that I enjoy it as much as well.
It is entirely dependent on the supporting cast though. I dislike Zooey's character the most.
I am so fucking excited
Steaaaaaaam
AND the Debate Episode of Parks and Rec.
it's on Hulu+!
i don't think there could be a more perfect show for me unless Parks and Rec or Arrested Development made a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode
But Hulu+ sucks balls!
