incredible hulk is all out fun as hell action and actually utilizes a lot of the hulk's supporting cast and rogues gallery pretty effortlessly
iron man is just no limits improv and actors clearly having fun.
iron man 2 is a damn interesting screenwriting experiment.
and thor has some neat thor stuff and shakespearean family stuff but doesn't feel as special as the others, to me. it's just what a thor movie should be, nothing more.
Thor was simultaneously spoiled by the awful romantic subplot and made by Loki as a character. The two cancel each other out enough that it's still a good film, but definitely not as good as most of its direct peers.
