Isn't Tupelo a gambling city? It's no Vegas, or even AC, but it's still got at least some gambling, right?
There are some casinos on the Indian Reservation in Tunica but they're super depressing. Tupelo is an odd duck. There is really no MAJOR interstate or highway that goes to it, yet inexplicably it still has some shit. But it is not a destination except for crazed Elvis Fans by any stretch of the imagination.

I've driven through Shreveport several times on my way to see my uncle in Texas (Cross Plains, outside of Abilene) and let me tell you, Shreveport was skeezy as hell every time.
