To acquire the Forum Badge you need to do one of the following things:

1) Take part in the West Coast Train Trip
2) Go to the Pre PAX dinner
3) Go on the Magical Mystery Tour
4) Attend the Pre PAX table top gaming night
5) From midday Friday 31st August until 4pm Sunday 2nd September, go to the BYOC registration desk. The enforcers will ask you a question about the forums and if you get it right, will hand you a badge. The questions will be posted in the OP of this thread 1 month prior to PAX Prime 2012.

Note that historically the Canadian Super Trip and the Cross Country Super Trip also received badges but I can't see any mention of these events running on the forums. If someone could confirm back to me that they are I'd be most appreciative.

I thought those were qualifying activities, not acquisition possibilities. Thank you for making pick up possible at BYOC!

Oooo, I didn't realize that one could still get their name on the badge! That's exciting! (I have one from last year, but I wasn't on it - I figured because I wasn't cool enough to be considered part of the forum community. Which made sense, since I'd just barely joined at the time. =P)

Just found out I will be at PAX this year! I won't be in cosplay again because I'm flying in from France the first day. I was the Chell walking around last year with the cruddy portal gun. Can't wait to pick up my fourth forum badge they're always so cool looking! I know I'm cutting it close with getting my name in there this time but this was a last minute revelation.

Here's the breakdown of key dates for the Forum Badges:

1) Post questions to be asked at BYOC desk on Saturday 22nd July 2012
2) The last day to post on this thread or to sign up to the WCTT, PPD & MMT is Friday 3rd August 2012. This will get your name on the back of the badge.
3) Post the badges to organisers of WCTT, PPD & MMT on Saturday 12th August 2012
4) I go to Gamescom on 14th August 2012
5) Confirm with organisers of WCTT, PPD & MMT that they have received the badges by Saturday 25th August 2012
6) Fly to Seattle from London on Thursday 30th August 2012 and go to Pre-PAX Gaming night and hand out Forum Badges
7) Go to BYOC registration desk with Forum Badges on Friday 31st August at 12pm
8) Go to BYOC registration desk to collect unclaimed Forum Badges on Sunday 2nd August at 4pm

Pre-PAX Dinner tickets bought, and I plan on hitting up the Pre-PAX Tabletop night at the Sheraton as well. Yay!

Draklan an I will be trying to attend the Thursday pre-pax gaming night as we don't generally fly in early enough to do this, but this year we are getting in Thursday around lunch time. Can't wait to meet some of you guys there , maybe even do some button trading as well.

I have been out of touch on this thread and missed the new design. WOW! I love the blue tint you added back into it. Thanks again for doing this for us every PAX. Can't wait to get mine! =)
