I'm just taking clothes really. Hoping to find an apartment or room that's at least semi furnished
WHAT!
REALLY?
Dude.
Whoa! Seriously. Everyone is moving here. Pipe, welcome to Vancouver! It should be easy to find a furnished room, lots are still furnished because of the winter olympics.
Looking at some 850 sq ft apartments on Tuesday that should be nice and closer to downtown than I am now at my parents'.
BUT, there are some slightly nicer ones that might become available soon for 50 less. BUTT they are still far away from everything and everyone besides work. Thinking I might take these ones on Tuesday if I can.
I'm hoping (possibly futilely) that I'll get a job before I need to find more permanent residence and sign a lease and stuff, so it'd depend on that
but at the moment, I'm looking to move to "Somewhere near the Skytrain"
Alright, that shouldn't be too hard. In Burnaby the apartments are pretty cheap, nicely sized, and near the skytrain to boot.
Are you just winging the employment thing?
They cast a shadow like a sundial in the morning light. It was half past 10.
I would love to live in my own apartment. They are way, way too expensive in my immediate area, though. The ones that are affordable add at minimum 40 minutes to my commute, one-way.
or wind or whatever the fuck is the most reliable off the grid thing
I want to deal with as few people as humanly possible

If you buy property without a thourough inspection and appraisal letting you know exactly what you're getting into vis a vis local standards and regulations
Well
You're fuckin' dumb.
Yeah.
That shit isn't gonna help you for the most part.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
no that also comes with a false sense of superiority too, shorty
I like my bitterness to purely be self loathing and defeat thank you very much
I need it to only ever be nice out like two months a year. That adds to the bitterness. The utter contempt for mother nature.
The only other option would be living in one of those canada super apartments that have stores and everything in them and also work there and never have to go outside. That kinda bitterness i'd dig on.

people are odd about Seattle weather
like, it sucks, and everyone knows it
but people just roll their eyes and grin about it
like Seattle weather is a crazy racist grandparent who adopts lots of maltreated animals
all showin' up twice a year, givin' you an excuse to get out of your house and do something with them just long enough to start hating them

Dude, if you can find a cheap ass house in NE I'd be willing to throw down on a room.
Eugene sucks, and so does Portland. I don't know what I'm doing anymore, but I'm going headfirst into it.
being all "yep, I'd buy that."
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.

Everett is more your speed
sleazy as hell and it's where a lot of escorts work out of
basically Washington's answer to Detroit
which means that it's Detroit, only not really dangerous and the drug dealers are really passive-aggressive

being a hipster is all about bitter contempt
Can you PM me if we get an update on this, I'd like to have a # before I break out the lotion.

It's so beautiful in my mind
typically off-the-gridders opt to have as many sources of power as is practical/possible in their area
well fine, I'll buy one of those hippie books and make me a geodesic dome or some shit and paint FUCK YOU all over the outside of it
