Just remember, no matter how much you love it, don't take less than $50.

C'mon feral, this will be great for your portfolio!

    yes x roughly a million

And "Yes" is off to a flying start!

Also, way too many traditionally "romantic" songs seem to imply that God has something to do with our relationship.

    I do not approve.

But, but...you are soul mates! And God put you on the earth to find each other, and he's blessing your marriage!!! If you don't let God bless your marriage, it's going to fail! OH MY GOD THINK OF THE FAMILIES

Her family is generally non-practicing Protestants of some description, whereas my side are generally non-practicing non-believers, and we've only had one awkward Thanksgiving where here uncle suggested I say grace.

But I handled the situation like a boss and no one really made a big deal out of it so it was all good!

I so badly want to troll my own wedding song list with subtle anti-love songs so as to further illustrate just how not seriously we take the whole "traditional wedding" thing.

This probably says some unflattering things about me.

Edit: Or various songs that might suggest that she's pregnant.

Well, to be fair: they also wage war on each other via Capture and Hold, Arena, and Team DeathMatch; but your point is well taken.

also, I am very slightly annoyed that Children of the Phoenix and Star Wolf are apparently not going to be included. I mean, I haven't seen anything either way, but that's the sort of thing you mention as being in the works, right?

    Yeah, exactly.

I am comforted by Richard Dawkins’ theory of memes. Those are mental units: thoughts, ideas, gestures, notions, songs, beliefs, rhymes, ideals, teachings, sayings, phrases, clichés that move from mind to mind as genes move from body to body. After a lifetime of writing, teaching, broadcasting and telling too many jokes, I will leave behind more memes than many. They will all also eventually die, but so it goes. - Roger Ebert, I Do Not Fear Death

I'm glad I was able to go through a second wedding when the first one was an unmitigated disaster where the only people acting like adults were the bride and groom. Thankfully the second wedding was peachy and doesn't give me cold sweats when I think about it.

We unintentionally requested songs about breakups at my best friends wedding many years ago. His brother thanked me for Separate Ways in the bathroom and that was how I learned of the impromptu plan. Was fun.

I'd be really shocked if they didn't show up at some point. Children of the Phoenix architecture is in the game (lava level) and the Griever is wearing a children of the phoenix belt. I'm sure they will be skins that cost $$$ though.

God I love Season 2 GitS:SAC. The ancillary character eps are just fucking great. But that's because Saito is a god damn badass, and the scoring has a super-unexpected calm to it.
