Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Uggghhh. Stupid cat. I don't know how he does it. I brush and comb him every day and he cleans himself religiously and he still has this horrific matting problem. I'm never getting a long haired cat again, even if he is the cutest, little, fluffy butt in the universe, yes he is.

There was no way I was getting a long haired cat. Short hair or bust.

My step-brother has two long hairs. One, Usna, never learned to clean himself. The other, Star, will pin Usna and clean him whether Usna wants to be cleaned or not, but they have to bathe Usna regularly since he won't clean himself.

Most of them aren't as angry as her. I mean other then a Yankees/Red Sox playoff game, or sitting right behind Jack Nicholson at a Laker's game, it's generally pretty safe to be in the crowd at an American sporting event. I make no promises for European ones.

Oh, it's perfectly safe during the match. Afterwards, kinda depends where and what sport :D
(nah, in the UK anyway, everything's been pretty much cleared up and sport events are safe)

Quick, give me nerdy ringtone ideas.

I have a Star Trek communications beep for incoming calls, but it's not very loud.

    Suggestions!
My sister's phone has the same ringtone as Phoenix Wright's.

Has he ever tried dunking her? A friend of mine had a cat with a similar problem and then the vet told her to just dunk the cat in water. Once they are wet, cats tend to lick themselves and it can sort of jump start the habit.

My family is all about short-haired cats. There are some adorable long-hairs out there but man it's a pain. My folks only have a long-haired cat now because my dad had to rescue her from a hiding place that coyotes were slowly expanding the entrance to day by day by day. D:

Today for Chinese homework: Some guy convinces his mother to sign a 15 year fixed rent agreement, at below market price, where he then secretly provides 1/3 of the cash so the renter will then put in a good word for him to his boss for whom she is married to.

This all goes south when the guy's sister in law points out three years later that rent prices have more than doubled since then.

    who's renting to who now

Old lady who owns a piece of business property is renting to her son's boss's mistress.

Not that she knows any of that. It was all just a surprising coincidence that the son stumbled on to and tried to take advantage of resulting in a court room drama for me to decipher.

huh, courtroom drama. Why, did the landlord try to make the tenant as miserable as possible until they moved out, and then crossed a legally-enforceable line

Nope. Daughter in law simply pointed out that if a contract can be shown to be demonstrably unfair the agreement can be canceled.

In this case the girl paying 3k yuan a month for property valued at 8k a month and rising, for another 12 years with no way to adjust it, was considered to be unfair.
