As a liberal arts major, I found that comic hilarious.

As one who studied lyrics both iambic and pentameter
I found the comic well within my comedic parameters!

The trick, you know, is not just matching syllables on every line.
You have to match the metric feet; mis-emphasis is asinine.

    let it be noted that "mis-emphasis" is only asinine in the context of setting words to a tune

    altering the meter of a line in poetry is a perfectly acceptable device to create changes in rhythm and pace, and doing so properly is by far more difficult and noteworthy than simply constructing verse in slavish iambic

    this is a caveat in case someone comes in here to judge me
