Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

and surely you realize that die katze reitet!
I was swimming in a river with some people, recognized and unrecognized. The transparent waters carried us through a jungle so green it suffused the air with its hue. The current was so slow as to not exist at all, and nothing swam, walked, crawled, or flew.
We soon came upon a waterfall, and seeing nothing below to dash ourselves upon, we jumped down screaming and laughing. Immediately there was a change in the air. Everything was squirming with life. There were too many animals, beyond memory, beyond any natural count, swimming in the river with us. The top left corner depicts a lizard, only about an inch or 2 long in body but with a tail stretching a foot or more. Most of the tail was attenuated along its bottom to function as a paddle, save an odd thick portion in the middle. Above us, silent and as still as kites were hovering some sort of bird hidden in the shadow of the sun, I took my best stab at them in the top right portion. Looking to the shore I saw the snake in the lower left. It immediately struck me as odd, sitting on that branch. Odd, because its eyes sat directly atop its head, and I knew it was made specifically to sit there and watch me upon the river. The thing in the lower right is a beast I saw both swimming and sunning on the shore. It's an amphibious reptile that seems to carry itself much like a sea lion. It was unsettling and beautiful to watch it stretch its jaws like a flower in bloom, and change the color of its scales from emerald leaves to river stones.
We left for more exciting venues after that, but eh.
i'm excited to see this!
