So there's a movie called Snowtown about Australia's worst serial killer. Saw it tonight. It's really good. Not scary like a horror movie, but creepy and bleak and uncomfortable and generally miserable. There were multiple scenes where I was just staring slack-jawed at the screen in a sort of trance. More of a head-fuck than scary, but definitely worth a watch.

Yeah, Snowtown is a pretty good movie.

Though I made the mistake of watching it while I was at home recovering from a flu and it messed me up pretty bad for a day or so.

    Thermaltake is made of ghosts.

So, uh, does that mean I need to preform an exorcism on my computer tower then?

If you do that your CPU will overheat. The ghosts and their cold spots are how it works.

Don't worry, we're actually the most advanced species in the universe, in all standards and fields in which a civilization can be considered advanced. We are the ancient all-knowing aliens from which all the other species' technology will be derived from.

Which means all future alien technology will be derived from porn http://www.cracked.com/article_18888_5-ways-porn-created-modern-world.html

My parents recently bought a big chunk of farmland with some old buildings on it.
I went out to visit them last weekend and it was like wandering onto the set of a found footage film.
First off, most of the old buildings are full of junk, all kinds of equipment etc. Some of it was old books and such, all of them were initialed by their previous owners. Most of them are initialed by the same four names.
Located a bit of a walk away from the house/building area sits an old three person cemetery. Three of the names from the books are marked on the graves. There is a small but thick wooded area between the house/buildings and the cemetery. If you explore the wooded area a bit there is another grave, but poorly marked with stones and a small wooden cross. The first initial of the 4th person is on the cross.
Nobody has had time to even go through all the old buildings yet, so while I was out there I went antique hunting. While exploring one of the mostly untouched buildings, something caught my eye and I looked up. There was an old noose hanging from the rafters. In the corner of the room was an old chair. If I were to stand on the chair, my neck would have been about level with the noose.

The best(worst) part is that they decided to take me on a walk through the wooded area at 11pm with only one flashlight to show us this "cool thing" that they found.
The next morning I found the damn noose.
