Good lord that was horrific. Even the double 6 was a mixed bag. Statistically I should have been inflicting close to 2 to 1 casualties. I guess the lesson is expect phenomenal rolls going south, terrible ones going north.

Double checking my math with an actual move-by-move: My turn started with 13 in 18, down to 11 in 19, 10 in 16, 8 in 17, 7 in 14, 6 in 15. Then I maneuver to end up with 6 total in 14.
I count gud.
