14:10.31 - Miyamoto's showing the "Wife-O-Meter", which he uses to evaluate how the expanded audience is growing by evaluating "the interest level of my own wife".

14:11.00 - "You may remember Pac-Man and Mario coming out. These were important moments in your life. They were not important for my wife."

14:12.37 - He thought his wife would like Tetris, but she didn't. But then she watched their daughter playing Ocarina - "So then I thought, maybe there is hope." Then came Animal Crossing - "When it came out I assured my wife there were no enemies to fight, so she agreed to actually touch the controller."

I'm not expecting anything OMG MEGATON SONY AM CRY, but I always like seeing Miyamoto in public.

I expect new info/trailers on game already announced, but no new game announcements. If there is one it'll be Animal Crossing.

I don't have any loyalties -- I just like the drama of keynote speechs that drop bombs. Like the finest of Spanish telenovelas.

Go for the Eurogamer one. Its the best and updates automatically.

Also, whats the news on what they can announce? With the stock deal arent they supposed to not talk about new products. So really all its gonna be is new info on already known products right?

On the showroom floor they had a lot of new stuff on upcoming games, so that's what I expect for the keynote.

Yeah, I was gonna say, too -- it's almost nice if it's light on news and more on the behind-the-scenes stuff. Like Iwata's glorious love letter from GDC '05.

In 2004, he appeared with a sword an shield. In 2006, he appeared conducting an orchestra. Now, here's the Miyamoto GDC 2007 Entrance Pool:

Dressed in giant Mii costume: 2-1
    Flight: 3-1
    Riding a Unicorn: 5-1 (Pegasus: 6-1)
    Sudden Materialization: 10-1
On a series of treadmills like that totally sweet OK Go video: 20-1
Descending from Heaven itself with angelic chorus: 25-1

    Joystiq:
10:48 a.m.: Our photographer, Zack, is getting hassled for using a camera tripod in our current seating area. " My legs are longer than this tripod," he argues. "Yes sir, but your legs aren't a fire hazard," the GDC helper replies, coolly. We briefly picture his legs consumed by flames.

There are 3 elements to Nintendo's corporate vision. First, the expanded audience. "Maybe you've already heard too much about it by now..."
