I am buying battlefield for a friend. I can find no info anywhere if buying Premium also includes the original game.

Premium is completely separate from BF3.

You "unlock" all of the DLC by purchasing Premium for your account, but you must buy the base game to play.

In September you will be able to buy the Battlefield Premimum Edition which costs $70 and includes BF3 + All DLC.

Edit: Actually, it's already available. At least on the Mexican Origin store, and it's up for only $499 pesos which is like $35USD.

To put that in perspective, that's base BF3 for 20 dollars.

edit: It also gives you a headstart kit which gives you the basic gadgets and first neutral weapon for each class.

Perspective fun fact, living in Sweden. If I were to buy BF3 and Premium today, off of Origin, it would cost $165 USD.

There's plugins for Firefox/Chrome which allow you to visit sites through a proxy. Or hire a VPN for a day, which is like $1 and use one in Mexico, bam! BF3 Premium edition for $36. Or just PM me and we can work something out.

I just got on origin to check prices for medal of honor and I also looked at SimCity. Man EA is asking a lot for games these days. $70 for warfighter with bf4 beta access and $80 for SimCity! $80!

Supposedly it's not granting God-level boost to accuracy it did in beta or at launch. I still run it through on all my rifles and SMG's, just because.

Some guns just become really jumpy when you have it, it really feels random how it's going to affect you weapon all around.

The problem that the foregrip has it that it kills your accuracy out past about 40 meters. It makes my trick of starting at center mass and riding the recoil to the head impossible at longish range. The heavy barrel more than compensates for this. In my opinion, the flash hider is far more versatile than HB&FG. Flash Hider reduces recoil and dramatically reduces your spread.

I played BF3 today with a 3 monitor setup and 3D. While it looked really pretty and immersive, the 3D reduces a lot of detail at a distance. Or that's me because I can't watch 3D movies either, they all seem blurry to me.

I have the same problem with most 3d tech these days. They are literally tricking your brain into thinking you are looking at 3d, when you are not. Not sure why it seems to work better on some people than others.

And on an unrelated note, I feel like playing Battlefield tonight. You guys should join me in mumble and we can find a server to play on.

The foregrip reduces your horizontal recoil but increases your bullet spread when you ADS. So its good for closer range engagements where you can get more bullets on target quickly where the spread isn't as noticeable.
