Have you played the First one? If not, it's under $4.
If you have, you know what's going on in 2, largely.
It's more nuts, a liiiiittle bit more actiony, more crazy set-pieces but also one of the most unsettling, tense, frightening quiet moments I have experienced outside of like, Amnesia.
I know what being on a tight budget is like (I have $17 to last me a week!) but $17 down from $70 is crazy nuts great value for that game.
I thought that was a fantasy rpg before looking closer.
Also made me want to play the old SNES TECMO: Secret of the Stars just because of the similar name.
The walking dead is great, darkness 2 is pretty fun so far, and somehow the binding of isaac + its gamepad program from cnet gave my computer some strange malware. Who knew, cnet drops malware on you now. Im afraid to install the civ 5 expansion because i would lose a month of my life. And also pre ordered dark souls

DS1 is very tense and scurry but at least you have BIG GUNS which go CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA as you shoot enemies literally into their composite limbs
DS2 is less tense but some of the actions sequences are absolutely fantastic.
Golden God @scarlet blvd. bought me DS2 during the xmas sale because we get a bit overcharged for it, I praise his name every time I crush an enemy beneath my mighty boot
