I've been using Windows Live Movie Maker for really basic format changing and clipping (such as snipping the start and end of something to make it shorter), but anything more complex like taking several smaller clips from a longer recording seems to be excessively difficult with the interface it presents, so I am looking for alternatives.
The basic requirements are that it is able to take large .avi files that Fraps spits out, allow me to take smaller clips from those larger files and compile them into a single movie, and then save it at a reasonable compression level for upload later.
So suggest away!
