    I'm still exploring all the new stuff but there's something I have to comment on.

    We apparently have achievements now. I dunno how I feel about it but it's kinda neat.

    Also I will tentatively say that it feels like things are running smoother. Not just load times, but when I write posts it usually hangs by a half second (maybe it's just my old ass PC). At the moment it feels like it's flowing way better.

    Edit - Uh, I also noticed there's a forum-achievement in regard to post count. Ironic as it may be for me to say, can we axe that particular kind of thing?

    Actually it's very intuitive that way. You have to move the mouse over the post to quote someone anyway. There's actually been people who accidentally quote the wrong thing and such.

    I am gonna reserve judgement for a week, a first impression is hardly good metric. I've seen similar badge and cheevo systems in other forums and it didn't work out too hot but given the culture of the forums it could work out.

    ok yeah I really don't like quote being hidden behind a mouseover

    I can't just move my mouse to it because I am bad at guessing how far over it is.

    Also I find mouseover stuff way more distracting than if it was just there because it suddenly pops up. That probably makes me weird.
