So far I think the negatives outweigh the positives. The Cheevo thing is silly and I fear will encourage problems. I dislike non-static elements and there's lots of those now. The Disagree/Agree thing is cute but I also worry about the impact on forum culture. The massive who's online banner seems like a terrible idea. Having polls back is nice though.

Also and potentially important: the Circus and Vanilla bugs forums have disappeared.

I don't like any of the badges, achievements, likes, dislikes, agrees, comments, or flags. They clog everything up, the posts have too much stuff on them, and everything looks cluttered.

For me, Penny Arcade has always been a great forum BECAUSE it didn't feel the need to fill the forum with stupid gimmicky bullshit like this - the content of posts made it what it was, not the meaningless features.

1) Agree/Disagree avatars show up without hovering but the options do. That seems.. bonkers.
2) I hope there is a limit on how many avatars will show up otherwise the signature blocks will be flooded with avatars.
