[PRIME] PAX Prime 2012 Parties

After missing the Harmonix party with the Giant Bomb guys at East, I told myself I was going to keep up better with the parties that are going on at Prime. So with that in mind I am starting up the parties thread. (Idea 100% stolen borrowed from the East Parties thread.)

If you know of a party/meetup, post the info below. I will keep the list updated here with time, date, location, cost, etc. so that everyone can have a single point of reference.

Last year I went with about 7 other guys and we were pretty much a mobile party haha. I just got back on the forum so I'm not sure what's out there but will you post information on the pub crawls here?

The only pub crawl I know of is the triwizard drinking tournament. Anyone know of any other ones?

There was a "fear and loathing" crawl too, but the guy who ran that last year is doing the TWDT this year.

Wasn't there a Riot pub crawl at East? Since there is a League of Legends tourney at Prime, might there be a Riot pub crawl here?

I don't recall one being posted on the forums, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen You could contact Riot and find out maybe.

Are open bar parties (ie Curse after party at pax east 2012) rare. I know im being repetitive but i dont really know what to expect and i dont want my team getting their hopes up if it rarely happens

You will probably find one or two of the larger parties that have open bars. They usually get announced in the next couple weeks here.

they probably will, considering sega owns gameworks. i'm pretty sure they've been there every year i've been at pax. never been to their party though.

Okay, correction- so I heard the "Riot Pub Crawl" at East was actually unplanned hangouts by Riot people that would fill a bar, spill into the next bar, and so on, thus forming an impromptu pub crawl. Maybe lightning can strike twice.

Last years GW party sucked. Not enough food (they ran out about halfway through the line) and bad entertainment. The year before rocked. Hopefully this year they get it right again.
