bah totp again? WELL I GUESS EVERYONE'S JUST GOING TO LOOK AT BREASTS FOR A WHILE.
Obi! Good to see you back drawing and whatnot, especially on a marker board. I was planning on getting one next week for my room, because I love marker boards.
Thinking of painting one of my office walls with idea paint so it could just be one big marker board. For planning meetings and stuff...totally not for the doodles.
Idea paint is awesome, if it wasn't so expensive I'd do my whole room. My ex boss had a bunch of it an always talked about painting a wall with it, which excited me to no end... it never happened though, what a tease.

Did twinkies die?
That's actually really disappointing, I've never had one, and had planned to eat one whenever it is I get around to visiting the US. Then whenever people refer to twinkies in movies I can say,"Hey, I've eaten one of those"
Dream ruined! Thanks a lot America.
I don't know about your twinkie experience but mine has been that they're always eerily moist
like there's no way cake that's been on a shelf for six months should be this moist moist

I wouldn't worry. It's not like when they close down they just took all the Twinkie machines and threw them in the river. They'll be back. Under a different name. And people will swear that they don't taste the same.
Recreational marijuana being legal in Colorado, someone's gonna be cashing in on hostess' flagship product.

Either way Zombieland just became a dystopian vision of the future, just y'know, without zombies and carnage and all the other stuff that happened apart from the twinkie shortage.

Yes, with a quick verbal "boom." You take a man's peko, you deny him his dab, all that is left is to rise up and tear down the walls of Jericho with a ".....not!" -TexiKen
I'm headed to Orlando this Saturday and I've been doodling for the past four or five hours trying to get some semblance of a portfolio together. Gird yourselves. The draws are coming.
I'll probably try and do more original stuff tomorrow.
@Angel_of_Bacon - Ahhh I love those colors and shapes so much. How do you get such vibrant colors?
Well there's a decent amount of truth to Wass' comment, but the other trick-if you can call it that- is also making sure to not make everything saturated, which is an easy mistake to make when you're trying to make things really bright and saturated.
when you max out the saturation on everything (or simply have it all consistent across the board), the saturation you use loses it's impact. You have to vary the saturation levels to make it work. So if you color pick that picture up there, you can see there are some areas that are maxed out (bluest blue of the sky, brightest bits of the grass, etc), but a lot of it is actually not that bright, where I've put in a lot of colors that taken by themselves are quite dull.
Dan Dos Santos did a pretty good post on this awhile back:
Does this look like Steam Punk? I don't know how it actually works, I figured I was just supposed to give a Victorian era chap some goggles and that was it.

Actually, aren't you from SA? just imagine a balfours frog without the icing, drier cake, and generally just crappier.
