The Phalanx boxart is one of the greatest oddities of our time. I remember the magazine ad, it featured the old banjo guy ranting about spaceships and video games. Unfortunately, I no longer have any of the magazines with the ad in it, and I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
That creepy ass demonic grin of Cyberjobes is why I actively avoided looking directly at the SNES aisle's boxes in every store that sold or rented SNES games back when I was 10-11. I HATE that fucking boxart with a passion because of that.

The whole Fallout package is just still really awesome.
I'm assuming that's the same artist that was used for the Capcom vs. SNK character portraits? It looks pretty much exactly like them.
Hmm. I can't think of great boxart immediately offhand. Twilight Princess's was pretty rad, but that's a given.

MGS2 definitely has the best cover, but I also liked the MGS3 US one.
The only MGS cover that truly sucked was Twin Snakes.
