i think i'm gonna go rent Immortals from a Red Box. My internet connection has been super shitty of late and I don't want to get into the incredibly frustrating situation of streaming a movie/show and having the connection die in the middle.
Are there any other action-y, not very challenging intellectually movies that I should check out?

Like, I'm fine with all kinds of bodymod but when skippy took out his lip plate to eat and his limp, distended bottom lip was just dangling there, dragging through his food when the went to take a bite, I was a little put off. Tie it back or something.
you tried to fuck my lip hole
he couldn't get it up because your meatflap disgusted him

I'm actually going to start wearing red lipstick more, like on the daily, and see if I can make my wardrobe a little more weird but chic and a little less t-shirt and jeans (not that I'm giving those up, but I need to start wearing shirts that fit me).

tattoos are totally a cultural/ethnic/socioeconomic thing
And don't even try to break that triple construct apart because it all ties together
And I won't.
Will try to do a general response though since the last thread closed while I was eating dinner.
Okay why I tend split tattoos and body modification such as piercing away from civil rights is simple, legally they are different and culturally they are view differently in the US. Conflating the two isn't productive at this time.
Choices on hiring, especially jobs that require visual customer service, have unwritten requirements on how people look. This is really breaking down into the argument of wearing jeans and a ratty shirt to an interview.
If your tattoos are tasteful, can be hidden or are non-offensive then in general I feel you should be allowed to do most work. If your tattoos are things like fuck you across your hands, well you made a choice and society will judge you for that choice.
Now @Poshniallo I think you are conflating the idea of choices without consequences=freedom of choice. This is and will never ever be true. When getting a visible tattoo there are consequences in society which society is upfront about. Now thanks to changes in society these consequences are becoming less and less severe in the US but there are consequences. Since tattoos are usually done as an adult your not immune to the consequences of that choice. I will say if they are done when you do not have the ability to make informed decisions by ones parents or someone similar that is a different circumstance but that isn't what we are discussing. Whether I agree with the consequences of the choice or not they are what they are now. And until societal changes reaches that breaking point people makes make decisions with in the environment they live. And to sit and say that we are ignoring the freedom of choice by having people live with consequence of choice is just out right silly. There will always be a consequence for your choice. This is why such things as a tattoo which is very permanent should not be a decision made in a short period of time but should be made with a lot of thought behind it.
You have the right to choose to be different. But that does no give you the right to be free of consequence no matter how free a society is.
Also want to point I understand that sub-cultures and different socioeconomic groups view tattoos and body modification differently. But again, different consequences but still their are consequences for choices.
