I'm really, really hoping they let Shae just be gone, or give her a new storyline, or something.
TV Shae is so much different that giving her the same fate as book Shae would, I think, actively piss me off
Nah, right post. The book's plot has, essentially, an entirely different character in it. The show's character performing the same actions would be so far out of character that it would come off as garbage writing. It would seem like cheap, schlocky bullshit.
As it currently stands, anyway. Maybe they'll find a way to get her to the same endpoint without it seeming forced and hack, but I am very skeptical.
It doesn't help that I thought it was dumb and tacky in the book to begin with
Hm, ok. I think I see what you're saying. I was thinking that you were saying the lines of the scenes were poorly written, not that the scenes should have been written in a different direction.

Can we just get the rest of the season on HBO Go already? Its not like HBO loses money on advertising or anything. We have to subscribe to see it, let us see it all.

yes but this way elongates the amount of time it's in the cultural zeitgeist and fuels the hype train for the show because everyone is seeing it on the same timeline.

The presence of Roose accounts for a good portion of that, I say. Putting him on screen is almost never a poor choice.
Yeah, she was talking about how he's gonna appreciate all that Tyrell gold when the Iron Bank comes a'callin
Wonder how they're gonna sexposition their way through Iron Bank talk
"Well see the thing about compound interest is--" *puts ankles behind head*

Vipers ain't got hiking boots, they ain't even got feet
I mean I know this is a fantasy show but come on

both the girls (the one with him and they one being hunted) were the same two girls who Ramsey had teasing Theon before he cut him.
