I've decided to live with the beta. I installed beta 1 a couple of days before I expected 2 to come out, just to see how 1 was and how 2 would improve it. It got worse, as far as stability goes, but I hope 3 fixes that.

Ps: John Lithgow should have gotten his own spin off from his dexter appearances.
that dude.
That reminds me! I made a fan trailer for season 4. Now is as good a time as any to share, no?
What the hell happened with season 4?!? It started off strong and then BAM! that guy from Third Rock from the Sun is beating his wife. The transition from careful pro to sloppy, abusive family man made no sense. No sense!
Yes it did! From the outside, they were this idyllic little family, which led Dexter to try to get close to Trinity so he could figure out how he managed to be such a successful serial killer while keeping his family happy and completely removed from it. Turns out, lol no, his family lives in fear of him, and Dexter is left to figure out for himself whether he can "have it all," managing his Dark Passenger and keeping his family happy and safe. And we all know how that turned out.
Feh, it was a lazy attempt by the writers to get the audience to hate Trinity. They even made him into a child murderer in the last two episodes to really sell the idea that Trinity is not Old Dexter. For a serial killer who evaded police for 30 years, it's out of character to risk having police investigate domestic violence calls.

Beta 2 was a lot smoother and faster, but it totally crashes like every 10 minutes for me. I'm going to wait for the builds that are rumored to be GM. Those will have bugs but at least be usable for day-to-day.

Trinity tries to kill himself early on (Dexter saves him) so I just assumed that Trinity is at a breaking point mentally, hence the extra crazy behaviour.

My brother is good at coupons. We filled the trunk of his (admittedly not huge) car with groceries (primarily pancake mix and yakisoba dinners), for ~$3, including the price of acquiring the coupons in the first place.
oh hey dexter was a show that had a few good episodes then got really bad
Wasn't the show based on three books? How do they have six seasons if each book is a season?
They stopped following the books because the books get dumb.
I have not read the books but I heard there is something about Dexter exorcising his Dark Passenger from his body and it floats around until it possesses one of the kids and turns them into a young serial killer.

Also because the writer is writing about his experiences from 1980-2000.

Nope. Lazy writers. I can tell.

I knew what the spoiler was before I read it.
Because yes.
Wasn't the show based on three books? How do they have six seasons if each book is a season?
set in the 80's it is about soviet spies living in the DC area
it is cold war espionage goodness with an 80's soundtrack
