i've known people a lot like her, but that's no excuse. There are other ways of having a naive newbie to contrast with current Piper.
I think the thing that demonstrates her needless irritation levels is that unlike every other character on the show, I have no interest in her backstory.
If they can make me give a shit about why she's in jail, instead of just hoping someone smothers her with a pillow, then I'll give them real props.

You just know with the way this show swerves left when you expect right, we're gonna get a flashback and it turns out she went on a mall shooting rampage or something.
I just finished season 2 last night and yeah, yeah that was a good season.
Kind of the downside of the Netflix format is that we don't have a pace everyone keeps by so there's no common grounds until we've all finished the season.
Maybe I've watched too much Game of Thrones but when Caputo was doing his preemptive victory lap I was sure something terrible was about to happen, like there was no way that was actually gonna happen.
Of course everything immediately goes wrong, but it did so in kind of an awesome way so that's okay.
Because OITNB seems to be running through a checklist of all the characters I'd love to see on TV, if they could do an American Indian lady, I would lose my mind
+1

See now what they did with Morello is easily my favorite thing from this season and that might have been my favorite episode. Super sad, sure, but gat dang if you want to add a third dimension to a character in one episode or less that is how it is done.

I haven't finished the season yet though so maybe my opinion will change.

Fig fucking up is a major theme of this season.

I took a lot of sadistic pleasure in watching

Norma's thing about love was really good. I think her name is Norma, the one who doesn't talk.
