If the Improved perks are in the Character-only section of the Legacy window, then yeah they'll probably work only with whomever uses them. Not sure if they're sellable on the GTN but if they are, they could be profitable.
Tho the preferred access bundle is only 648, and that's got a bunch of nice stuff for any nonsubscribers.

What's the deal with this ewok companion on the cartel market?
It's the second neutral-faction Companion you can pick up. I think you can get the unlock for her in-game if you have a million credits. Not sure how else other then that and the cash-shop item frees her up to be a part of your crew.

This (last?) deal is actually worth it - upgradable mount + speeder training 1 for 240 cc, + 80 to make it accessible for all characters

I have no idea how I'm skilling out this Jedi Sage. Right now I'm putting points into the "throw giant pieces of wreckage at people" tree. It seems to be working well while my Trandosian dude does the grunt work.
So the casino event at Nar Shaddaa starts today. This first go only has two types of slot machines, each needing their own tokens to play. According to Dulfy:
Kingpin Casino Chip: 50k credits or 1 Cartel Market Certificate
Smuggler’s Casino Chip: 1k credits or 100 Warzone Commendation
The Kingpin has two prizes it'll deliver right off the bat: a Rancor mount and a speeder-mount called the Vectron Magnus. Otherwise you'll be playing to win Golden Certificates to turn in for the other prizes. The Smuggler slot-machine actually gives it's own prize in the form of a two-minute buff to improve your chances on the Kingpin machine. Also, there's a hidden title and achievement to win.
The machines have a 0.02% chance of EXPLODING, earning you The Unlucky title and the Quality Assurance achievement.
Prizes usually go from 1-3 Golden Certificates with a pet droid being 5 and another mount, the Vectron Opus, at 15.
Yeah, when I said 'right off the bat', I meant the Kingpin machine has them as extra prizes alongside the Golden Certificate and will give you the mount directly rather then you having to pick it up from the event-vendor.

Welp. Got a jackpot and won a Rancor. Can all my characters use it?
Edit: Hmmm Considering this space tommy gun doesn't unlock anything in the collection I'm going to assume this Rancor is just once character. Gotta figure out who should get it then.

Observations from the event *your experiences will vary*
Took the 100k credits I had on my agent and spent them on smuggler tokens in two batches of 50. Went through both batches. Got about 20 kingpin tokens out of that. Got the rancor on one of the last tokens. Got a couple of jackpots on the smuggler slots which give a gold certificate. Got enough gold certificates to get the laser tommy gun.
Then I remembered I had a level 40 smuggler that I made way back. Logged in and emailed my sage 200k. Spent 100k more on smuggler tokens. Burned through half then used the kingpin tokens then repeated. On the second kingpin run I got the jackpot speeder and six more gold certificates.
Total spent: 200k credits
Obtained: Rancor, speeder bike, space tommy gun, fedora for my agent, and a blaster pistol for my smuggler.

Ok, aside from the hat, the Kingpin armor is the smuggler's Battlemaster gear set.
So far in legacy gear they've released Trooper battlemaster (Kuat Drive Yards), Shadow battlemaster (Tython/Korriban tactical missions) and now Smuggler battlemaster. I was really hoping the next release would be knight battlemaster, but I guess I have to wait for one more event.
I'm definitely going to be working on getting that gear tonight.

Oh, big tip. Don't go to the casino after you get your free tokens. Leave and go to the promenade. Those two sail barges on the outside? Both have both sets of slot machines and a vendor. Way less laggy.

AHAHAHAHAH So I take my level 39 smuggler over to the casino to use the gold certificates I mailed him from my Sage so he can get the Han Solo blaster. Get the five free smuggler slot tokens and after buying the pistol, I go to burn them for laughs. Get three kingpin tokens from those five smuggler tokens, then get the speeder bike jackpot on the kingpin slots on the first try. Guess Smugglers are lucky!

Another FYI. The Kingpin pistol has a laser sight when it is drawn in the color of the crystal. Not sure how rare that is on a pistol. Not seen them do that yet.

Also my quick travel is back up to half an hour. I didn't receive a notice my sub had lapsed, and it damn well better not have--I still have like two weeks left in my last month. But I can still send up to 5 companions on missions on level 50 characters.
