    Last night.

    And then again this morning.

    And then some more this afternoon.

    And maybe even again this evening.

    Awesome. :)

    So after watching Casino Royale (which was fucking awesome by the way), I recall that both Daniel Craig and Eva Green are going to be in the film adaptations of His Dark Materials, which only makes me want to re-read the books more.

    They're ok books. About as subtle as a kick in the teeth but worth reading.

    Well they were basically the most amazing thing I had ever read in my life when I was 12, and I still really like them now, so that counts for a lot. I haven't read them in a few years and I'm about to start The Golden Compass in about ten seconds, so I'll see if they're as unsubtle as you said.
    To me, the books are basically the antithesis of The Chronicles of Narnia.

    Easily fixed by putting <center> ... </center> tags at the begining and end of your page.

    When I encapsulate my DIVs in a <CENTER></CENTER> tag team it seems to center-align the text in each DIV as well... :(

    edit: Actually that worked, but the margins are still off. Hmm.

    Thanks!

    Not in my IE, nor in my Firefox. The big grey table of two columns is centered in the page, but the text in it is still left-aligned.

    Just to be clear, I'm saying replacing
    <body>
    <div class="outer">
    ...
    </div>
    </body>

    with:
    <body><center>
    <div class="outer">
    ...
    </div>
    </center></body>

    Yah, I tried it and it did work...I put the center tags exactly there.

    Are the margins a little weird to you? They should be 5 pixels all around...meaning except for the very bottom right the gray "lines" should be equal width all over the page.

    In IE, the side borders look bigger than 5px. And the bottom border is definitly bigger than 5 px.

    So this is the last day of Spring Break for me. Tomorrow it's back to school. Two weeks before SB, we turned in a six page paper in my Consumer Culture class. I did a book review, but did it extremely last minute, went over by two pages, and mostly summarized the book with little, if any, real analysis. So I turned it in fearing a horrible grade. The week before SB we got our papers back. I just put my in my backpack, not wanting to take the hit then and there. The instructor said that a lot of people merely summarized with little analysis, so she would let us redo the papers and average the two grades. Cut to today, the day before class. If I'm going to rewrite it, it'll have to be tonight and tomorrow morning. So I pull the paper out and flip to the back page, expecting to see a C- or D.

    B.

    Well fuck that, I can live with a B very comfortably.

    Ovechkin is so underrated compared to Crosby, it's pathetic.

    @ Drez: That looks like Turbo Pascal circa DOS 3.2 (colortest 4, I mean).

    Ahhh -- no, I don't like any of those. Seriously, my advice would be to leave the boxes themselves, the color inside them as white or white and grey alternating, and then just mess with title and border colors.
