Alright, I'm going in. I have prepared tea with which to fortify my spirits, if I don't return by lunchtime avenge my death.

EDIT: Christ, now I'm getting email from "Business Intelligence and Management." I don't even know what that means.

My father is an architect, he now works at the town hall as resident architect/guy who beats the shit out of anyone who isn't capable of making a decent building. He started off as an employee and finished his degree around the time I was 3 or 4. It's possible, although he says it's much better to finish your degree as soon as possible. =)

I'm not sure how it's broken down in the Netherlands, but here to be a registered architect you have to:
    • Do a three year Bachelor of Arts/Science in architecture
    • Do a year's work experience (really hard to get in this city)
    • Do a two year diploma
    • Do another two years' experience
So I've done that first part, but I have completed the first part.

So even if I wanted to do the diploma, I'd have to do work experience at an architect's first anyway. And I'm not even sure of the process to be an architect in the US!

Over here it was a bit easier:
    • Bachelor
    • year work placement
    • Master
    • You can call yourself "architect"

My dad however, did a lot of different schools first, before he eventually got into the bachelor programme.

Yeah, it´s gone. The wall tiles, too.

After the break, the floor tiles are going to receive the beating of their life (the last one, to be sure) and that´s it!

The new stuff will be done by professionals. :)

Doesn't that mean something like "would you sleep with me?"

    Because that might work.

Ooh, I could use that. Now to see if I can find a translator with pronunciation online.

Turns out, that DOES mean "you have wonderful eyes." Now, how to pronounce it...
EDIT: I'm not getting jumped in the bus, mainly because I don't see her till first period.

Yeah, that was pretty bad, Hap. I'm not electronicmaji, the girl I'm smitten with is actually the same age as me.

    or is she...

No such thing as luck. In "warfare/shot down" terms, I'm a paper airplane, and girls use nukes.

It's really just "how much chance is there of this working, and is it worth it?"

EDIT: Yeah, but my iPod is all Green Day and blink182. Not really "relax" music. Can't even play All-American Rejects; that whole first album was breakup songs.

Um, it was an attempt at 'I love chocolate ice-cream'

    sharasugar_80.png sharanomsugar_80.png

I watched Dexters regularly, but that was years ago. I don´t remember much. :(

Edit: *facepalm* My bad, Janson. Didn´t know what "glace" was.

  • JansonJanson Registered User regular
Apparently icecream is feminine, and I said 'with chocolate' when 'de' is acceptable, so I suppose it is 'J'aime la glace de chocolat'
