    Although...

    (huge spoilers)
    the map photographic memory recreation thing was kinda dumb (maybe they could've swapped an episode between the first and second part here).

    But basically everything that followed, ESPECIALLY the big reveal at the end, was pretty much perfect.

    Jenny was in bad shape but my guess is she isn't dead and she comes to save the day at the beginning of next season.

    I totally saw the map thing coming. They even make a point of reminding you in the "previously on" that he has eidetic memory.

    I watched that pirate show last night. Because I'm secretly fifteen and pirates are still awesome.

    It's an alright start for a silly pirate adventure. I can see myself easily dropping it if it doesn't improve in two more episodes.

    I will hear no further disparagement towards the unintentional comedy hit of the spring season.

    Oh man, there will be a week where the Hannibal season premiere, the True Detective season finale and The Following all air within a four day span. That marathon will be a thing of glory, and the quality whiplash may kill me.
