Well, it doesn't have to be an AC person. I'm just saying the work wasn't drawn specifically for this thread. I unno, it doesn't really matter. *shrug*

These threads are always mildly off-putting, as it gives faces to the before-faceless masses of cyber-characters that I every so often engage in pseudo-interaction with.

Yet another thing that I'd like to do, and will say that I might do, but will just as likely not do because I'll feel guilty doing art instead of school work.

Then I did this last May for this thread, but I never posted it. I felt pretty happy about it. That's redpanda, neo (I think), and I couldn't get Frank, so I quit.


Now, I just did this tonight. I tried buckwolfe and neored, then I tried them again doing it faster, and then again even faster. Then I did one of Freek. (sorry for the crappy scan quality)


I like the results, despite the anatomy errors. I haven't drawn for so long. I think I'm going to do more of this speed drawing, because I have no confidence in my lines and I'm second-guessing myself too much instead of just going for it. As you can see, I had a lot of problems with neo's face. I thought it would be easy, but I was deceived. I think I didn't get myself adjusted to his nose and mouth before I moved on to the third try, so I was still screwing up on it. A lot of my problems were with misplacement of eyes and stuff, I need to layout the head more before placing the features. I liked drawing buckwolfe though, especially the hair. You have a rather cute mug for having such nightmarish images hidden away. Anyways, that was fun and refreshing.

Ok, so here is what I have managed to do so far.
I do have to say that after Neo, Moss and Buck, i did start gaining a cartoon style.
So i might redo them, I think Freek is by the most cartoony, darn my realistic styling.
