Though I think with the stats as they are, you need to be wearing the Magical Girl Outfit to have a chance
I also think that lesson in polearms should have been Reflexes, but we shall see!

Finale: The Last Waltz
A legend of OOOOOOOOLLLLLLD
By all the gods, never do that again.
I thought you liked music!
That was not music.
What if I marry you instead? Then everything I have is yours as well! Aside from the heads.
Silly little girl. I already told you. Your land isn't what matters to me.
And I already have a wife - a woman far riper than you. A bit stupider, but hey.
Then... I must. Burn with the rest, poser.
Crap, he's good.
Home schooled.
Do we have any giant rocks?
Fresh out.
Parlor tricks.
By the power of Novaskull! Moonlight Blade!
Now it ends. I never was that into pyromancy, but... it'll do.
The fire sweeps forward, devouring your vision...
Also, the alternate option isn't much better...
I knew I should've taken home economics!
Elodie did not survive to reach her coronation. Nova would have to go on without her.
But it doesn't have to end this way. Make different choices, train different skills, and Elodie's star may rise again!
The End

You want another shot, living dead girl? Pony up that cash!
Wait... what?
That's right. Money can make your wildest dreams come true!
I turn back the clock for a price, and you get another shot.
Not a bad deal, eh?
But I'm broke!
No big deal. You pay me later. When you're coronated or some junk.
Otherwise, well, off to Charon with you! What do you say?
You're going to beat me... with that? You never learn.
No, I'm going to beat you with THIS. MOONLIGHT BLADE REVISED!
Nice.
What the hell, old man.
You thought I'd bet against my little girl?
I'll leave the burning and disposal of the corpses to you.
With pleasure.
Yet as far as you can tell, your territory is secure. No more attacks are underway. So what could be wrong?
Well, water under the bridge. Time for coronation!
Only two weeks remain before your birthday celebration, and your official coronation as Queen. Have you done enough to build a stable Nova? It is traditional for the palace to provide entertainment and refreshment for the common people when a new monarch is crowned. It is a rare opportunity for the poor of the land to dine like nobles. The size and scope of any such feast depends on what expense the royal treasury is willing to bear.
Party hard!
However, with Elodie's magical knowledge, new mysteries arise...
About that hair of yours.
What is it? Blue is in this season?
That priestess, Selene... she's a Lumen! I can sense it! What kind of magical girl has no costume!?
I know. Some keep it classy.
What do you mean, 'I know'!? If you knew, why didn't you tell me!? Executioners!
You didn't need to know. Your job is managing the domain.
Some of us have other duties. Our missions have been passed down for centuries, little princess. You'll need more than an axe for me.
That would require more time than we have available.
If you survive, you will learn. In NG+.
Gaah! At least it's not DLC.
No seriously, there isn't a way to resolve this arc in this playthrough.
Though I did have her put in some work to try and learn!
Maybe someday we'll know...
But for now...
The castle is buzzing with preparations for your upcoming coronation.
The ministers seek to know more about your favorite arrangements and so forth.
I'm a queen, not a flower arranger!
Some are more concerned with the subject of your marriage.
Whomever you decide to marry will be elevated to the highest ranks of the nobility, which could mean a major shift in the balance of power.
Therefore, everyone is talking about the top candidates, even though you're under no obligation to marry so young.
Talarist, the Duke of Sedna, is one option. He certainly did express interest earlier, and it would bring stronger ties to the Talasse domain and improve the situation along the Elath border. However, your earlier rejection of him makes that seem less likely.
Then there is Banion, the Duke of Maree, a powerful and eligible noble only ten years older.
Kiran, the new Duke of Lillah. Close enough to your age that you remember meeting him at school.
A powerful kingdom, and he has close family ties to Nova. It would be a good match.
Except, of course, for the fact that you killed his mother.
The outlier is Gwenelle's half-brother, Anciet, who is only eight years old, but a potential heir to either Helles or Maree someday...
if his aunt and uncle don't make heirs of their own.
There's also two or three minor earls around the age of twenty who might make acceptable alternatives... or you could ignore noble traditions and marry a commoner, if you were prepared to deal with the uproar.
While you will need to marry eventually, you are still very young.
You could put this decision off until later. However, a clear successor contributes to the stability of your domain.
I don't really trust any of those smiling nobles with grudges.

I guess PLA's vote could be construed as support for commoner or nobody, so I'll be doing one of the two.

Epilogue: The Pax Elodica
Elodie ain't got time for that. There's idiots to behead.
That too.
Sadly, not much left of the army to tour.
No worries, I don't expect she'll have a hard time conscripting new sacrif-I mean followers.
It didn't matter so much that you were a princess then. Your title was something for the future.
Many of your peers would be Duchesses or Earls or the like, but not then. You were children.
Your parents could not attend on the actual day, but they did send wonderful gifts; some for you and some for you to share.
And a week later, they came for a visit, and your mother took you with her through the countryside in a splendid carriage.
It was the last time you would ever see her.
You wonder if, wherever she is, she can see you now.
You are fifteen years old, a legal adult. You have worked and studied, suffered and prepared, and now the time has come.
May the gods deliver peace, wisdom, and prosperity to you, and through you, all of Nova.
Princess Elodie, your oath of rulership.
And keep beheadings to a minimum?
I will. Define 'minimum'.
Will you, to the best of your power, uphold the ideals of love, honor, justice, and mercy? Not necessarily in that order.
I will. Give or take a few.
Lords and ladies, I present to you your undoubted Queen, who has sworn you her loyalty.
You who have come to give homage, will you do the same? I would strongly discourage the alternative.
One at a time, the head of each duchy approaches your throne and kneels to swear his or her allegiance to you and your heirs.
There'll be candy, right? No seriously you said we'd get candy.
You'll turn your back eventually.
Does this mean I get help?
I always wanted to be master of coin!
I would have shown you the world. Guess I'll marry that barmaid...
Free at last, by all the gods, free at last!
That robe looks terrible on y- *GACK*
I love that trap door.
You'll be back, I give you a wee- *SPLAT*
NEXT!
Off to join the Fly Girls, ciao!
We can at least join forces to crush the other kingdoms beneath your iron fist in a massive continent-spanning war of blood and despair, right?
Naturally!
People of Nova, I give you Elodie. Daughter of Fidelia, your true soverign,
What say you all?
~Fin.
As for Elodie's rule, here's how the historians put it...
I was holding off on announcing this here until it was available for EVERYONE but it should now be out for all customers. If you bought direct from my site, you can patch up by checking for updates from the preferences screen (you'll need your license key - if you have problems, email me with your purchase info). If you bought on Humble they have a new installer to download. If you bought on GOG they've made a patch available to update with. And if you bought on Steam it should already have auto-updated you unless you turned that feature off.
There's a ton of new stuff in this release, which will probably be my last new-content release for the game. Non-comprehensive overview, which may constitute minor spoilers:
New Plot:
Adair now has a face and some available conversations if you get engaged to him
Spybard has a face, a name, and some new conversations
You can now test the chocolates for poison. If you have the right skills.
Refusing to duel Togami if you ARE a Lumen now has totally different events instead of a quick insta-game-over.
Killing Togami in the duel now leaves a crystal
It is possible to make Charlotte a Lumen (and for bad things to happen to her)
You can print Lumen propaganda
You can call your Lumen mentor to help if you have a partial success with sensing someone's magic
You can ask your Lumen mentor about your mother's death
It is possible to get the Everyone Loves Lumens outcome without dueling Togami
You can send a spy to investigate Arisse
You can ask Arisse to become your advisor
You can get engaged to one man, dump him for another, dump him to marry a third, then divorce the third and get back together with the second
Conversation at the party changes if Bennett has a title
You can invite Talarist to the gala if you're engaged
More information if you suspect Talarist of killing Adair and marry him anyway
Marrying Banion after having Brin executed now has a unique epilogue.
More ways to accuse your uncle of trying to kill you
Under specific circumstances, you can officially marry Brin.
Tweaks and features:
6 new achievements / checklist items
Now a NEW indicator after an outfit is unlocked (LPers keep missing them)
Lucille's journals automatically decode in epilogue if you have spybard
Skip ahead button doesn't show up on generic feedback
First climbing check now lower
Naval battle shows a War test success/fail
Sense magic check added to 'poisoned' pillow
Elodie may now suspect that angry-Kevan knows she had Arisse bumped off
Attend Court is now adjusted if dad is dead
Visit Dungeon is now adjusted if Elodie's cruelty has gone up
Suspecting Shanjia of war buildup now explains the situation better
You can question Lucille about the Mervan assassination attempt, if you have the note and are talking to her privately
In Depressed mood, Elodie automatically sacrifices herself to the Kraken if there is no other sacrifice available
You can no longer refuse Togami's duel if you are NOT a lumen
More detail from Economics skills on several money-related issues questions
You can no longer leave taxes the same if you have no accounting skill at all
Lore 90 lets you know that power can be combined, to offer minionhood
First way, minion ending requires her to off pops.
Second, not being a Lumen means her dad takes you're place in the duel, and without the proper gear, he ends up dying from it
First way, minion ending requires her to off pops.
Second, not being a Lumen means her dad takes you're place in the duel, and without the proper gear, he ends up dying from it
Second way makes you feel pretty awful. I came across it when I tried to do a streamlined path through my first victory but forgot a few things and lost the naval battle.
Watched GrimithR's play-through of this, and he somehow managed to beat the game first time with no prior knowledge and just picking what seemed like a good idea at the time. He ended up winning the naval battle by summoning Cthulhu or something, which I didn't know was a thing.

Or, if not an option, I guess pick nothing.

Sadly, I do not think there's an out to that scenario involving burnination. Well, not of him, anyways.
