Tompkins, as this Craigslist ad reads) is taping tomorrow night in Los Angeles, so if you're in LA and looking for something to do, buy yourself some tickets, and then kick yourself for paying money for free tickets.
The show, from the producers of Real Time with Bill Maher, centers on Black and his panel of guests who discuss current events in what one assumes will be a funny manner. The show is described thusly: "If you're a fan of Politically Incorrect or Real Time but don't understand the words, then this is your show."
I think the last time something like this was attempted was Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and I grew tired of that show pretty quickly. Still, I like Lewis Black, so this show could have potential. If anyone out there actually goes to this taping, come back and let us all know how it was, okay? Okay.

Skip to 4:20 in if you'd like, though most of it is good. I actually got to see him perform live in Atlantic City, and sat about 3 rows back in the middle, and holy shit did I almost piss myself laughing when he performed this bit.
