    Hey I got a question about shapewear. I am thinking of wearing it under my wedding dress just to give me a bit of reassurance, but I've never worn any before. Anyone have experience with this and have any recommendations/tips/suggestions on brands?

    my main problem with shapewear comes from the need to use the toilet.

    Because shapewear can be an absolute bitch and a half to get in and out of on its own, let alone when you REALLY REALLY REALLY have to pee.

    But it's been a long while since I've looked into it.

    I tried to do that a few times. All it did was give me a bunch of half pulled hairs and irritated ingrown type thingies.

    The thing about shapewear is to make sure you try it out thoroughly before the occasion you want it for, in case it rolls up or down, or doesn't work, or is too uncomfortable, or whatever. Definitely do a dry run with it.

    Found a shift dress in my closet that is waaaay more flattering than I remember! Love it when that happens. Dress + heels makes my legs look days long, no easy feat when you're 5'2".
