Destiny, eeeeeehh. Yeah it seems like a decent lootwhore scifi FPS, but decent isn't a console buyer for me. I need to remind myself what other good games are on PS4.
Area you go into with the Ashen Mist in the Freja boss room. Literally the only thing to do in there is go and get the Ancient Dragon Soul from the dead dragon and leave. I could totally have seen her being a kid there all sad that one of her dragon parents are dead.
I haven't done it myself yet but I'm assuming there's some key item that you automatically get when you load your character like with the sunken crown key, did you get an item like that?
Restart the game, you should get the 'heavy iron key' popped into your inventory. You might want to restart steam as well, it was being a big ol' baby about actually recognizing the fact I spent those 10 dollars on the dlc.
